Call for Submissions

The AP-LS Student Committee is pleased to invite proposal submissions for the 2021 Virtual Poster Session of the American Psychology-Law Society (AP-LS). We strongly encourage proposals  that are empirically based and that involve new and emerging topics within psychology and law, as well as proposals that include diverse populations. Proposals will be evaluated through a blind review process focused on intellectual merit, innovation, novelty, and integration of multiple aspects of the field.
The deadline for proposals has been extended to
Sunday, December 13th, 2020 11:59 pm PST.
All proposals must be submitted online by this date.
Posters Submissions: Posters will be presented at a live virtual poster session held on Gather.town on Saturday March 20th, 2021 and will also be displayed online. Poster presentations should be made in written format and submitted online (details TBA). Submissions are limited to a 100-word abstract and 1000-word summary.

There is a limit of TWO first-author poster submissions per person. Presenters should be students or Early Career Professionals. Undergraduate and graduate students will further be required to get their submissions approved by an individual or co-author with a terminal degree (PsyD, PhD, or JD).

Proposals will be evaluated through an anonymous peer review process focused on intellectual merit, innovativeness, and breadth of appeal. All proposals must be submitted via the online system.

Call for Reviewers

We also need reviewers in all content areas! Those willing to volunteer to review proposal submissions can sign up by filling out this online form. Professionals and graduate students are both invited to review.
The deadline to sign up was Sunday, December 6th, 2020 11:59 pm PST.
