Cecilia Allan is a forth-year in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Legal Studies at the University of Waterloo and her master's in Forensic Mental Health Counseling at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Her research interests include sexual violence prevention, paraphilic diagnoses, grooming behaviors, sex trafficking, victim-offender duality, and sex offender legislation. In her free time, Cecilia enjoys reading, travelling, and cuddling with her dauschund, Stanley.

Jordan is a third-year in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at the University of North Texas where she also completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Although her research is broadly focused on the assessment and measurement of psychopathic personality through the use of novel technologies (e.g., linguistic analysis), Jordan is interested in the intersection between maladaptive personality traits and propensities to hold discriminatory attitudes toward marginalized groups. She hopes to inform risk assessments for hate-based violence offenders. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her cat!

Cassidy is a third-year clinical psychology student in the psych & law concentration at The University of Alabama working with Dr. Lauren Kois and Dr. Jenni Cox. She completed her undergraduate degree at James Madison University and is from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Her research interests include forensic assessment, assessment of competency to stand trial, competency restoration, and adverse/ traumatic experiences. In her free time, she enjoys drinking coffee, reading, and hanging out with her two pups!

Morgan is a third year Legal Psychology PhD student at the University of Texas at El Paso. She earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. Her research broadly focuses on policy and the effects of justice system involvement for people post-incarceration. She is also interested in the role of technology and AI in the justice system. In her free time, Morgan likes crocheting and listening to podcasts with her cat, Phinneas.

Olivia is a third-year Clinical Psychology PsyD student at The Chicago School in Chicago, Illinois. Her clinical experience has involved providing competency to stand trial restoration services in an outpatient setting, along with competency and court-ordered parental capacity evaluations. Her research interests include competency to stand trial, competency restoration services, and the use of traditional psychological assessment tools in forensic evaluations.

Aysha is a second-year doctoral student studying clinical psychology at The Wright Institute. Her clinical interests include working with those affected by severe mental illness, substance use, and complex trauma, as well as conducting diagnostic and forensic assessments. Aysha's research broadly focuses on factors informing trauma-informed care in correctional settings.

Kimia is a first-year forensic psychology graduate student at California State University, Los Angeles. Her research revolves around factors that influence jury decision-making in criminal and civil cases. Most recently, she has contributed to the design and development of a study which aims to examine whether emotion regulation instructions can help mitigate some of the biasing effects of emotions on jurors’ decision-making processes. Her long-term academic goal is to continue conducting research but as a professor and future mentor.

Marc is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a former practicing commercial litigator in Texas. Marc has a Masters of Social Work and a Masters of Science from Tulane University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology, Public Policy and Law from Aliiant International University. He is focusing on trial science consulting and his research interests involve imlicit bias in the courtroom.

Suchika Siotia is a third-year clinical psychology PhD student at Fielding Graduate University. Originally from India, she hold a MS in Psychology. Currently, she serves as a psychiatric evaluator specialist in a Washington county jail, where they navigate the complexities of the criminal justice system. Academically, Suchika delves into the intriguing facets of human personality, with a particular focus on the Dark Tetrad personality traits. Her research also extends to the realms of sexual coercion and sexual fantasies, contributing valuable insights to the field of clinical psychology. Outside of their professional pursuits, Suchika finds solace in the world of art and indulges in their fascination with crime shows during her free time.

Kamar is a forth-year Clinical Psychology PhD student at the University of North Texas. She is completing a concentration in forensic clinical psychology. Kamar completed her undergraduate degree in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Her research broadly focuses on forensic assessments and factors underlying legal decision-making capacities in underserved and understudied populations. Her passion for social justice informs all her work, and she is excited to continue this in her career.
