Student Presentation Awards
The AP-LS Student Committee sponsors various student presentation awards at the annual AP-LS conference. Awards are sponsored for Outstanding Student Papers, Outstanding Student Posters, Outstanding Student Presentation in Legal Research, Outstanding Student Presentation in Novel-Topic Research, and Outstanding Student Presentation in Corrections Research.
AP-LS Award for Best Undergraduate Paper
The AP-LS Award for Best Undergraduate Paper is awarded to an outstanding undergraduate research paper that is focused on the interdisciplinary study of psychology and law.
Annual deadline: June 30
The award supports students who complete dissertations involving basic or applied research in psychology and law, and the winners will be invited to present their research at the annual AP-LS conference.
Annual deadline: Dec. 31
Diversity Travel Awards
As part of an initiative to increase diversity within AP-LS, the Minority Affairs Committee (MAC) will provide travel awards to students from underrepresented groups who are presenting research at the annual American Psychology-Law Society Conference.

AP-LS Conference Student Travel Awards
To be considered for one of these student travel awards, you don't have to do anything besides ensuring your current student affiliate dues are paid. Awards are based on reviewer ratings; students with the highest reviewed submissions receive the awards. Only student first authors are eligible; second authors are not considered. The AP-LS Conference Student Travel Awards are coordinated by the Conference Advisory Committee.
